George D. Fratila, known as George Elgyn, started his musical productions in 1999, when he went the first time to a local radio station. He was blown away by all the technology involving in sound control.
At this point, he’d comprehended, that it was a possible occupation and obsession. He started to learn musical production at the age of 13 years and evolved from computer music to sound design. But that was it not at all. In 2002 he started loving the trance music style with no apparently reason. Trying to create a harder style of music, he ended eventually by creating hard-style accidentally.

That was the day, he’d realized that music grew to obsession. He started to learn and learn, until he received a bachelor degree in Sound-Design from the Berklee Music Institute in the USA.

In 2004, after finishing the courses, he’d started to create music under the name of Gestalth ( n.r. ger. Gestalt). The main music style was a very dark and grunge hard trance, almost hardcore. After a year, he’d released his first vinyl on his own record label ‘Noise3 Records’ named Aa/Ae. After this release, he published 2 more vinyl, part of a trilogy, named Replica.

Between this releases, he’d started working on a movie score project under the name Source, which changed into George Elgyn. In 2007, after 16 month working on sounds, he’d released 2 album. The first album called Approaching Elders, loaded with 8 film-score tracks. It was the first one under the name George Elgyn, followed by the second bonus album Chroma Spectrum who contains 4 Psybient tracks. Chroma Spectrum awarded as the newest addition to the Psybient Hall Of Fame - Best Psybient Album in 2007.

After 14 months of work on different shows in Europe, he’d offer his 3rd release to the World Market as a digital one, named Noir. A very dark and experimental album with genres from Ambient to Drum'n'Bass, powered by IDM, Goa and Trip-Hop in between.
