Minus is Daniel Stanciu, a computer science student and electronica producer. He's creating music since highschool, with three experimental and 8-bit releases on the Romanian netlabel Arhiva7.
Ion Dumitrescu is a choreographer and performer, he has been involved in music for a number of years, playing guitar and bass guitar previousely in a band and is working on a side project called “The Numb Bit” since 2008.
Daniel and Ion started jamming somewhere in the beginning of 2008, both with their favorite instruments: game boy and bass-guitar. After a while, more electronic toys (new and old ones) were added to the initial setup.
Throughout 2008 they played in different venues and festivals as: The Night of the Galleries at Atelier 35 in Bucharest, The Bridge Festival in Ruse / Bulgaria, Kinofest at MNAC, Cybermental in Control Club and other locations in Bucharest.
Minus si Ion will perform at the next Rokolectiv Festival in April / 2009.
